Peter's Comments
"What
should I mention first: the perfect shape of the neck that
makes playing so easy, or the wonderful sound of the
instrument that fills even large rooms without any
amplification, the incredible craftsmanship with so much
love for detail? This is my dream guitar! The Ryan guitar is
really special. I played so many guitars and always got back
to the Ryan. It is hard to describe how great they are, you
should try one. The sound is great and it is absolutely easy
to play. It is the best guitar I ever played in my life. I
have two Ryans, one cedar/rosewood and one koa/spruce, and I
have also 20 other guitars that I never" |

Kevin's Comments
The first time I heard
Peter Finger, about 12 years ago, completely transformed
what I thought the guitar could do. I was no stranger to
sophisticated guitar music but Peter’s music just opened a
whole new world of technique and melody. I remember sitting
in the audience waiting for Peter to begin playing. I
thought I had already heard the world’s greatest guitarists
and certainly was not expecting to find another that night.
But Peter’s music that evening captured me from the first
few notes and will haunt me with it’s beauty and passion for
the rest of my life. When Peter starting playing, my musical
world became simply bigger and more expansive. He is one of
the few indispensables for me.
As much as I like
Peter’s brilliance as a musician and composer, I have
learned to greatly admire and respect him as a person over
all these years. In all my years being in the music business
in one way or another I have met some wonderful folks. But
Peter’s friendship with us has become one of the true
treasures to Barb and me, both professionally and
personally. Peter is one of the classiest and most generous
souls I know. It is a thrill of course to build instruments
for one of the world’s all-time greats. But it is even more
of an honor to call him my friend. |
