This is my interpretation of a
turn-of-the-century Arts & Crafts motif. it has a slight Art Deco
flavor but it is mostly inspired by my enthusiasm for Arts & Crafts.
The stem is black pearl; the
crossbar and square detail are MOP; the "sun" is Red Abalone and the
corona is Gold MOP.

Here is our Art Deco 12th fret
vine. it is composed of several different shell types and is a
rainbow of color and texture.

The Dragonfly. I designed this
inlay for a special project and loved it enough to make it available
to all. Note that the wings panels are MOP and are outlined in Blue
Paua Abalone. The body segments are Blue Paua and are outlined in a
very delicate MOP border. The eyes are black pearl and are inlaid
into a Red Abalone head.
