Warm, Complex, Wonderful
     I continue to be astounded at this beautiful instrument. It's opened up wonderfully, almost magically, in the past week. I started changing strings yesterday and became so enamored with the sound, I played for two hours before I could bring myself to stop and change the next string! Musically, the response I was getting was, to me, quite literally heavenly. WOW!!! This guitar is incredible - warm, complex, wonderful - to name but a few of the adjectives. It's all I hoped it would be and more. I'm honored.

Your Guitars Play Like a Dream
    Thanks so very much for giving of your time and company during our visit Monday afternoon. Playing that Nightingale signature model was a joy. I;ve been a guitarist for many years, using a flat pick, but only in the last two have I attempted fingerstyle. It has been like learning the instrument all over again - and in the process, cleaning up some fundamentals that I never learned correctly when I began. Your guitars play like a dream. The tour of your workshop was fantastic. I found each step of your guitar-building process fascinating, the explanations clear, and can now better appreciate the attention to detail in both the art and science of what you do. It speaks to both the engineer and the artist in me, and reinforces in every way my decision to have you build a guitar for me.

A True Piece of Interactive Art
    About my guitar - I was a bit overwhelmed when I first opened the case and looked over her and played. The lines of the Nightingale are gorgeous. The tone was very powerful yet with a sweet presence when I first played the first night. The top is literally the nicest top I have ever seen with so much cross silking it looks 3-D.
    Last night was the first time I really sat down and got to enjoy my guitar. I serenaded my wife. I don't consider myself jaded regarding guitars, however, I have seen, played, and owned some world class instruments over the past few years, so these days it is taking a lot to really impress me. I played through my DADGAD songs for about 1/2 hour, and during this session I was so moved by the guitar, its beauty, and the joy of playing music with such a beautiful instrument. My wife told me it was the most beautiful she has heard me play (bless her - she has heard me play the same songs for years). The combination of the bevel and the fantastic playability of the neck allowed me to keep on playing far past the point when my hand usually goes numb.
    Kevin, I can't say enough about the beauty of my Nightingale. It is a true piece of interactive art, and will inspire me to rise to its level. I can easily say that for my style of playing (DADGAD and alternate tuned Celtic fingerstyle) I have not encountered a guitar that approaches the Nightingale. The tone is powerful and breathtaking. The neck and ergonomic features make playing the guitar easier to play and let the player devote her energy to the piece. The aesthetic reminds me of something out of the Renaissance, gracefully balanced with an inspired form. Most importantly, these facets of beauty come together in the experience of playing music, and I had the most wonderful experience last night with your guitar.

Rich, Perfectly Balanced, Powerful Tone
    This afternoon I put on the Ryan T-shirt I got with my first guitar, then I opened my Nightingale and started to play it. I don't think I'll ever stop. It is GORGEOUS. What a wonderfully rich, full, perfectly balanced, powerful tone, so easy to play, so inspiring to play, so expressive to hear, so graceful to see, so effortless to hold, so refined in every detail and line, so exquisite in workmanship, so clearly made with loving care and devotion. The ebony binding works perfectly with the beautiful woods, the inlay and rosette are delightfully understated, the bevel is so sophisticated.
    This instrument is more than I could ever have hoped for and well worth a wait twice as long! I cannot express in words my gratitude to be the recipient of this magnificent instrument. You are truly blessed to be able to create them and send them into the world.

I appreciate your concern and dedication, and would not hesitate in a moment to recommend your instruments to others. My guitar sings in my hands; it's the most enjoyable instrument I've ever played, hands down. The clarity, balance, and low-end response - along with a neck that almost plays itself - makes this guitar very difficult to put down. The Instrument is simply Beautiful
      I have one of your Nightingales, the Grand Soloist. The instrument is simply beautiful and produces a sound that is crystal clear yet highly complex. I have been playing guitar for 30+ years, and this guitar is an unexpected revelation into the possibilities of creating music with an acoustic guitar.
     I am a jazz guitarist and use the instrument in a duo with an acoustic bass player. She is stunned at the musical reproduction of the instrument. Thanks again for the instrument.

Singing Sweetly to me Daily
I just wanted you to know that my new Brazilian Nightingale is singing sweetly to me daily!  I have never been so proud of an instrument in my life - It is a joy to hear, hold and even smell.  Its beauty and craftsmanship has been a creative catalyst to inspire me (and we all need a little inspiration once in a while!).  Thanks again for your hard work in making this instrument.

This is a Romance that will Last a Lifetime
     Well the honeymoon is over and I still love my Ryan!  This is a romance that will last a lifetime and I look forward to growing old with my new Nightingale.  Not only is this a beautifully crafted piece of woodworking magic, it is an incredible state-of-the-art musical instrument as well.  I continue to be amazed at the sound of this guitar and the effect that it has had on my ability to play.       Although I am not an accomplished guitarist/musician, I hear rich full sounds in this guitar that I don’t hear in other guitars and that has allowed me to quickly become a better musician.  In its essence, the Nightingale is a well designed guitar that provides the comfort, size, fit, and ease of play of a small guitar with the range, balanced tones and fullness of sound of a much larger instrument.
 It has been a pleasure and thank you both for making this happen for me.
