Dear Friends,

In talking to one of the editors (who will remain un-named) from Acoustic Guitar Magazine a few years back, he told me that many of the awards in the different categories of People’s Choice Awards go to those companies that aggressively solicit their customers to vote for them. I told him that I had never done that. He said I was crazy and that I ought to solicit my friends and clients to vote for Ryan Guitars. As the great English professor C.S. Lewis once said, “That exhilarating programme I am now carrying out.”

And let me admit it straight up—it would be fun to win the Gold Award.

For everyone who votes for me I will give a brand-new guitar! OK, that is not true at all. I just said that to sound funny. But I certainly would thank you from the bottom of my heart for a vote. And I would NEVER expect you to forward this to your friends. Heaven knows they get enough unsolicited email…
